Don't forget that your skin is an organ also, and helps to eliminate toxins. If you put products on your skin that diminish the skin's ability to breathe, or add more toxins onto the skin, you are hurting your whole body, not just harming your skin. The number one way to stay healthy and beautiful is through eating good, organically raised food as close to the source as possible and living a healthy lifestyle with plenty of contact with nature. Regular fasting and drinking juices made straight from the fruit is very effective in ridding the body of toxins. Unfortunately, in today's society, it 
is not always possible to do all of these things as often as we should, and we often have to work and live in a stressful, toxin-laced, competitive atmosphere, under the flourescent lights. So what to do? Do as much as we can to "beat the odds" of disease caused by this unnatural, unhealthy lifestyle of ours.
